Suggested gratuity for wedding officiate - $50.00 - $75.00 It's easy to get married at the Falls. Go to any city clerk or town clerk's office in New York State which issue marriage licenses. The City Clerk's Office (716-286-4396) is located at 745 Main Street at Cedar Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY and is open Monday - Friday, from 8am to 3:30pm, except for holidays. The fee is $40. Both parties to the license must appear together before the clerk and present a driver's license or passport and birth certificate. If you have been divorced, you must show the clerk a certified copy of the most recent divorce decree issued by the the court. There is no blood test or medical exam required. The clerk will hand you the marriage license, which can be used for 60 days after a 24-hour waiting period. You must give the marriage license to the officiant before the ceremony. |
